Setting up Windows Live Mail for Windows 7--IMAP Setting
Note: If your Windows 7 system did not come with Windows Live installed, this email program can be downloaded from Microsoft at http://download.live.com/wlmail . Once you download the install file and run it, on the "Choose the programs you want to install" screen uncheck everything except "Mail" to only install the "Mail" program.
before setup your Windows Live Mail, pls make sure you have below information--IMAP setting incoming IMAP server : imap.yourdomain.com
outgoing smtp server : smtp.yourdomain.com
email address : username@yourdomain.com
password : *******
Open Windows Live Mail. If "Add an e-mail account" does not automatically open, click "Add e-mail account" on the left. See Figure 1.

Enter a specific email address, password, and display name in the appropriate fields. Make sure to check the box for "Manually configure server settings for e-mail account" and then click Next. See Figure 2.

Enter the specific Incoming and Outgoing server names. The box for "My outgoing server requires authentication" must be checked. See Figure 3.
Incoming Server : imap.yourdomain.com Port : 143
Outgoing Server : smtp.yorudomain.com Port : 465

Click Finish to complete the account setup. See Figure 4.

The new email account will be displayed in the left vertical column. Click the Sync button on the horizontal buttons toolbar to send receive email. See Figure 5
